As a nurse I traveled into different facilities for 20 years. I saw the good, and not so good aspects of the assisted living experience for both residents and caregivers. I have seen how family relationships can become stronger in an organized, loving, assisted living environment. With the lessons I've learned over those 20 years we have a culture of love and respect for every resident and caregiver at Laurel Groves, in hopes of creating the best possible assisted living experience. It is fun to watch as new residents come into our facility unsure of their place, and see how quickly they find their people within the facility. I love that we are able to provide a place where people can have fun, act silly and build friendships and family.
